Business Assistance Fiji (BAF) conducted an
Awareness and Networking Workshop on 5 October 2022 in Suva. As an initiative
to assist Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, the Workshop focused on the role
of BAF in assisting the MSMEs and the importance of Business Advisory Service
Providers in providing quality financial and other advisory services.
The participants were made aware of the various
MSME loan products available with Fiji Development Bank, changes to FICA
membership and FIA Act 2021 and the opportunity for MSMEs to join Vodafone
Vitikart.
The awareness was targeted towards Accounting and
Financial Management Service Providers on how BAF could support in getting SMEs
up to date with their financial reports and being compliant.
