MSME Day Celebration in Namosi

Business Assistance Fiji (BAF) participated in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day celebration, held in Namosi on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

The event was organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Council, which transitioned to the MSME Council and unveiled its new logo during the celebration.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica launched the new logo.

The Namosi village MSMEs set up a market where various stakeholders had booths to engage with them.

A workshop was conducted, and participants received certificates at the end of the workshop.

BAF’s Accountant/Business Development Officer, Nitika Singh, and Business Link Pacific (BLP) Business Service Manager Fiji, Deepak Prasad, highlighted BAF’s achievements and services to MSMEs at the BAF booth.

They also provided advice, business tips, and emphasized the importance of maintaining proper bookkeeping records to the MSMEs.
